The
Finepix J50 is one of two latest models in an absolutely new lineup of
beginner-friendly cameras from Fujifilm. First debuted at the PMA
demonstrate back in January, the J50 represent an attempt to put the
style back into low-priced, intimately resembling the more expensive and
well-regarded F-series cameras. First and foremost designed to be easy
to use and portable, the Fujifilm J50 boasts a very simple control
layout home in a slimline 23mm thick body. All the more imposing given
its diminuitive dimensions is the 5x optical zoom lens; give a versatile
focal length of 37-185mm. Additional standout features consist of an 8.2
megapixel CCD sensor, nearly 2.7" LCD screen and support pro three
dissimilar memory card formats. Is the J50 a valuable addition to
Fujifilm's before now extensive range of compact digital cameras, or
does it simply cut too numerous corners? Mark Goldstein reviewed the
Fujifilm Finepix J50 to discover.

Ease of Use
The Fujifilm Finepix J50 is a compact digital camera that simply fits
into both the palm of your hand and a trouser or pent pocket. By
measurements of 95.6(W) x55.4 (H) x23.0 (D) mm and weighing merely 141g,
this is a small camera that you preserve slip into a pocket or small bag
and not notice until you need to utilize it. The Fujifilm Finepix J50 is
quite pleasant on the eye, by a most stylish silver colour scheme
(moreover available in black color) and a slightly smoothed, compact
appearance. It imitates the excellent in generally finish of the
Fujifilm Finepix F-series cameras, and whilst not quite up to the same
high level, it certainly looks and feels more expensive than it really
is.
The
Fujifilm Finepix J50 is very easy to hold, by the shooting mode dial on
the backside of the digital camera where yours right hand thumb is
physically adjusted, and a little lip that acts as a handgrip on the
frontage. Your right forefinger is then completely free to work the
close button and the zoom lever, which surrounds the close button. The
mode dial permits straightforward access to the different shooting
modes, and the push-pull zoom handle is responsive to use. Despite the
flat all-plastic body, the digital camera is not too slipping while
gripping it. The assorted push buttons are well-made and simple to
operate, and the digital camera feels very well-balanced in your hand
over. The merely thing that I didn't like was the USB port, which
protrudes from the exact side of the digital camera body. Other than
that, the Fujifilm Finepix J50 is extremely well constructed and
designed with no obvious signature of corners being cut.
