A rapid
glance at the movies of the camera on this and the after that two pages
will rapidly inform you that the mju 830 is just an upgraded account of
the 780. It has precisely the same all-metal corpse with the same size
(99.6 x 55.1 x 24 mm) and the similar weight (125g minus battery); it
has the same 5x go fast lens with the similar focal length range (36 -
180mm equal); it has the same 2.5-inch 230k LCD monitor, and apart as of
the more influential sensor it has precisely the same requirement.
That's not completely a bad thing, since the mju 780 is a very well
intended camera, and the same can of route be said of the 830. The body
shape is extremely slim, with a good-looking wedge shape that means it
slip comfortably into a pouch, but its motionless comfortable and easy
to grasp.
Purchase Camera By:
The mju 830 is at present available for approximately £190, which
compares positively with other 8MP image-stabilized compact by means of
longer zooms, such as the standard IXUS 860 IS (£215), or the Panasonic
FX-33 (£215). Its neighboring rivalry may be the novel Nikon CoolPix
S510, also £190, though that camera has merely a 3x zoom lens and isn't
durable.
Like the
780 plus all the other models in the mju variety that don't have "SW" in
their person's name, the 830 is durable. That means you can use it in
the rain with no a difficulty, but it is not in fact immersion
water-resistant. The exact requirement is "IEC standard book 529 IPX4",
which means it be supposed to be able to endure water splashed from any
way, but does not specially include resistance to dust or grime. It also
says not anything about shock resistance, nonetheless the mju 830 is
extremely well made, and in spite of its low weight it feels very solid
plus healthy.
